Good baking stone
Nice stone, fits the oven well. Certainly improves the base crust of my breads and gives slightly better rise than baking on a tray.

Outstanding product
I have a brick pizza oven in the garden that makes exceptional pizza and wanted to recreate similar quality pizzas indoors over the winter months when I don't much fancy tending the oven outside. Never had great experiences with traditional pizza stones but thought I'd give this one a try as it looked a bit more versatile.Really, really impressed. So far any pizzas and bread that I have cooked on the stone have turned out great. It pretty much lives in the oven, always at the ready in case I think something would benefit being seared on the lava rock. Easy to clean, very heavy - if for any reason it broke tomorrow, I'd replace it in a breath.

These are awesome! You won't be disappointed!
I bought a pair of these years ago and I absolutely love them. I bake sourdough and they do an amazing job. I've also used them for pizza many times and it cooks beautifully even just in my straightforward domestic oven. And because I have two that I can fit in the oven at the same time, I've even done pizza parties. These are quite honestly my favourite kitchen implement and the best money I have ever spent. I use them every week and they're still like new even after eight years. I'm considering getting one of the new lava stone ones when we move house and get a proper because, because the newer ones can be used on a barbecue, so I could get that true wood smoke flavour to my pizza. My current ones are granite so they wouldn't be so safe on an open flame.

Not very happy with this
This was an expensive item but after it came I made pizza on it. And while It did cook the pizza nicely, it could have used a raised edge at the back so the pizza can be remover from the oven easier. Without slipping back off the stone. Also very heavy.

not worth, expensive, cracked. is not a granite, it's a quartz
I had great hopes to this stone given the higher price compare to others that have been failed miserably.It's heavy and holds the heat for quite a bit that is a plusbut in the oven, the bottom of the bread remains uncooked ( means that is not conducting the heat from the bottom of the stone to the cooking side )It cracked very soon ( always put in the oven when the same was cold and let get worm it up for 20 ish minutes, then let cool down in the oven itself, or on the countertop)because of the weight, the handling for the cleaning is not the easiest, but personally, I used to scrape the surface, never used water on it.In the pictures shows a beautiful turquoise colour instead, the stone delivered was of a dull black quartz :-( . also is not granite ( natural stone ) but quartz ( man-made stone )

One of the most useful products a baker can have
A totally first class product and first class serviceI love mine its pretty much improves all of my baking from bread scones etc.Also great for pizza the uses are endless and as strange as it may seem there is seldom a day go buy where its not used cannot recommend it enough.One of the things it helps with a lot of people who have no professional baking experience is heat consistency. Commercial baking ovens have large heat stores in the form of cast iron bottom plates these give a very even heat returning to temperature quickly after the door has been opened and the oven loaded the stone also provides this in a domestic oven and temperature recovers quickly through the stored heat in the stone giving much better baking results. Especially when looking for good oven spring from your loaves.

Looks and feels a good product, well packaged on arrival and delivered on time, just used once so far, and for a first go I am very happy with the result, looking forward to using this time and again and improving my results. Fits standard oven ok, but needs careful handling when hot as it is pretty heavy, thats not a complaint, just an advisory. Tempted to try it on my Gas BBQ to see if it gives an even more authentic finish to my pizzas.
