Im Updating my review.CONS:The pot gets really hot in one spot on the first setting which causes food to stick or burn in that specific spotThe second setting causes the pot to get really hot in 2spots of the pot. So this is warning to stir those spots a lotI use silicone utensils and some how the nonstick coating is starting to come off. This came today and I couldn't wait to try it out! I was amazed at the speed of heating up this little pot has! About 20 minutes to boil on 200 an about 5-7 on 600. It held two packages of ramen with a cup and a half of extras thrown in and cooked perfectly with no boiling over or boiling dry! It is an awesome addition to making my life a little easier! Only things I would change is to give it a pour spout and to make the cord longer, otherwise it's perfect!

This electric pot was so cute when it came the decor, and very light weight I wanted to like it very badly but then I started to cook on it and the taste was... whew. I cooked buldak ramen on it one of my favorites but it tasted differently and smelled weird. it had this plastic after taste and the smell was so obviously plastic and that has never happened before til I used this pot. I had to throw away the noodles which i was very disappointed about and clean the pot and will be returning it. I don't know if I just got a bad batch but I will not be buying this again. and yes of course I did wash the pot before using so I have no idea why it had that plastic smell and taste.
