Pretty much perfect at this price point
After returning a previous MSI 34'' monitor (a second hand one, not MSI's fault) i went around looking for a better monitor and settled on this one thinking the investment should be worth it (thanks to experience with previous MSI products) and I was not dissapointed.Pro's:The monitor feels huge thanks to the slim bezels around three sides, the built in camera is more than i need but super handy at the moment with constant work meetings.Brightness is almost a little too much for me but then again i'm sensitive to it so the average user might be absolutely fine. The PBP modes are amazing, as a software developer I can have my PC, Mac and Raspberry Pi clusters running at the same time and not have no worry about not seeing anything on the screen. The included accessories are a real nice tough, the camera holder now holds up a raspberry pi and the mouse wire holder thing now holds display cables whilst not in use.Text looks great, always good when you work on software and your wife is an editor. The lights, originally I thought i'll just turn them off but they are actually really nice although I havn't figured out how to utilize them in games yet.Con's:I feel as thought the inbuilt presets for the monitor could be better, i found some settings online which are currently suiting me absolutely fine. Quite honestly the only bad thing i has encountered.Would have been nice:-to get a USB-C in the box but I already have a hmdi to usb-c adapter so not the end of the world.

Glad I chose MSI.
I read many many reviews and was torn between the competing LG panel and this. Hardware unboxed gave the MSI panel a great review but coming from an LG 1080p IPS 144hz wide screen I didn't think I would see much improvement in games or general, how wrong was I!Breakpoint, BF5, Div2 all looked stunning and feel like I have been cheated for so long, why did I not do 1440P sooner!I chose the MSI over the LG because of a few main reasons. You never need to touch the screen to adjust, you can install the OSD app and adjust everything from your desktop. The in built AI works with you at night turning down the blues to keep your eyes going for a much longer and later gaming session. The aesthetics, it simply looks like quality rather than the LG’s much moaned about plasticky cheap finish, it looks and feels premium and so it should.RGB might not be your thing so TURN it off! I have the rear monitor RGB set to red which looks amazing in the dark and never really been a rgb fan but couldn’t help setting the front to breathe light nightrider even adjusting the brightness so it’s subtle. I was even happier to see the RGB can be controlled by my steal series software to match my headphones if I wanted so a great experience.Silly little things like a mouse cable tension clip and other tiny touches that give you that extra surprising smile.I am running a i7-7700K (can’t decide on Ryzen or wait for intel) running at 5gz paired with EVGA RTX2080 TI, I did not see any issues gaming at all and the freesync worked perfectly with g-sync, don't forget to turn it on in the monitor and nvidia control panel. The control panel will say enabled but the screen may still be off.I often get a little flak from the wife with the “cost” of gaming but I was shocked to even hear the wife say “omg I thought your last monitor was clear, that is amazing” she even went as far as to comment that she think its given the single biggest improvement but then she still thinks I am rocking a GTX1080ti 😜I am very happy I chose the MSI panel and if anyone is like me wondering if they should leave the safety net of known brands into the unknown, then go for it! I hope your experience is as great as mine.

I used to be a Samsung only fan, but they let me down, now I am in love with MSI!
What can I say? I only ever purchased Samsung screens/electronic products since the mid 90's with the old SynchMaster series, but it seems that Samsungs quality control..at least where screen quality/dead pixels are concerned..I no longer trust them!I purchased their flagship Odessy monitor for alot of money only to discover a dead pixel with 24 hrs of unboxing.I decided on this screen and it really is amazing-the level of quality has to be seen to be belived. It has all the modern quality of life functions and as for gaming at 144hz with my Strix GTX-1080 it shift on games and I am really seeing the difference in my FPS results- I got 3 Chicken Dinenrs in a row on PUBG after using this screen for the first time, hands down this is a high quality product that is clearly a labour of love for the MSI team!I was anxious about the Ultra wide perspective and how it would impact my gaming in regards to FPS but nearly all modern games support this screen..yes it costs a little more than Samsungs effort but you get what you pay for!Thank you MSI for restoring my faith in Screen technology! :)

Best FHD 27" on the Market
I had recently purchased a Gigabyte 27" FHD Curved Gaming Monitor and realised that 1080p couldn't really be handled well on that monitor so I returned it and decided to check out some other 27" FHD monitors. I know, technically, 1080p on a 27" curved monitor isn't ideal but this monitor has completely changed my mind about that because in my opinion, this is absolutely such a good monitor, and it's well worth the money. I am very happy and pleased to have turned to this monitor and I am having so much fun with it. Thank you MSI for designing such a good FHD 27" curved gaming monitor - I knew this monitor wouldn't disappoint me before I received. I would totally recommend this monitor to anyone for gaming and casual stuff like browsing the web, word processing, etc.
