SuperMoss (15900 Aspen Wood Excelsior Box Bulk, 5lb, Natural

I was afraid to spend the money on this but it is going to last forever and it’s way more then I thought.

This was exactly what I needed to use in the gift boxes I made for my bridesmaids. The items in the boxes would have been too heavy for regular paper filler. Fair warning, this stuff is definitely messy, I had to go outside to break it apart and place in all my boxes. This was also great for keeping the items safe through shipping to some people out of town.

I did not realize 5 lbs of this would take so much space. I didn't have the room to store it, so I wish they included box dimensions or something in the image. The quality of the excelsior is good. I got a 5 oz pack from them before and I liked it so I got it in bulk. Had a slight smell to it, was hard to pull apart, and made me sneeze, but what can I say...it's a wood product so it's gonna have wood dust from the shavings. I don't think there's any avoiding that when going with excelsior.

Works for all and anything you need it for.

Bulk purchase for baby shower used In table centerpieces and inside gifts and party favors is the way to go! So much for your money.

For my purpose worked wonderful,tricky to get smooth and sturdy had to find video then it worked great

It is much harder/thicker than excelsior, disappointed!

This is a small box with hardly any wood straw in it - definitely not five pounds worth. The box arrived the day before the movers were coming to pack a 300 year old frame, so there wasn’t time to find another source. A wooden box was constructed to move the frame, and we had to use moving blankets and other materials to fill in around where the wood straw fell short. Very disappointing that the description was so misleading.
