The best singleplayer shooter campaign in ages, and an okay multiplayer experience
Titanfall 2 manages something very few other games have managed in years: it gives the player a truly exhilarating campaign to play without acting like it's doing you a favour. Call of Duty and Battlefield have long since made it feel like the Single player is a courtesy that's getting in the way of the Multiplayer. Here, we get a thrillingly designed campaign that is both lengthy, well thought out, and well acted. Excellent voice acting, good emotional beats to inspire the player, great environments, multiple bad guys, steady progression and innovative ideas all land successfully in a story that even manages to pull a trick I've never seen before; - I've played games where characters will see a flashback or two during the same level. I've never before experienced a level where you can play it by hopping back and forth between two parallel timelines at will. It's a mind-blowing experience, and it both adds to the emotional impact of some of the revelations during the level, and enables you to pull some very neat tricks that will have you beaming with pleasure (and the occasional smug grin)In reality, the level designers deserve the praise, as you run along walls in defiance of gravity, battle giant mech-suits, change weapon loadouts and generally find yourself challenged and thrilled in a way that I thought shooters had long since given up trying to do. Titanfall 2's Multiplayer is a lot of fun as well, but I can't help feeling that the 'Titan' mechs have had their abilities slightly restricted from the all-out war-machines of the campaign, as the weapons seem slower-firing, and the abilities slower charging. I was hoping it would become by new go-to Multiplayer, but I didn't have the patience for a multiplayer that seems to be holding me back. However, as a single-player campaign, Titanfall 2 is worth the money in its own right, and is a storming experience.

Titan Power
I first played the trial on Origin PC store nearly two years back. I loved it but was disappointed that it was only for multiplayer online. This new titan fall is great because it has a decent single player campaign. It is challenging even on regular difficulty settings. My only issue is it started crashing. I am disabling the cloud sync option. This is because I think that is what is causing the crash. On some checkpoints it will freeze and an error message popped today that there was an error syncing with the Origin cloud. My settings are as followsAMD fx 8320e 8 core cpuAsus m5a97 le r2 monoToshiba 1tb HDDSandisk 256gb ssdAsus r9 270 cardNovatech 600wtt PsuCase is antecedent 302 all internal blackArcticA32 cpu cooler and 6 case fans16 gb Kingston value ramSo I don't know if my hardware is part and parcel with the crashing. I am planning to get a new HDD and upgrade to RX 480 card.If any of you are playing it on pc please reply or comment below about your experiences and if the odd crash happens.I must point the version I bought is a Origin download code. You need to install Origin, create an account and download titanfall. You don't have to pay to play online with Origin. I am not sure if Steam will have the rights to sell it though. Download speeds vary for all. What took 10-15 minutes on my virgin media fibre broadband could be more or less time for you depending on your internet provider and location. So consider this when buying.I know I get the odd crash but I still recommend this game.UPDATE 02/01/2017i upgraded my graphics card to the MSI RX480 Gamingx edition with 8gb GDDR5 memory.set to 1080p but turned off v-sync. played with tripple AAA and dynamic AAA and it plays smoothly. FPS is crazy well over 110 fps but i dont care about that. what matters is the game does not crash on me thanks to graphics upgrade.multiplayer is getting better and better but would like to see fair grading of players per server. i got banned for two matches because i was reported for cheating. lol. i'm the most useless player out there but i guess i ran into people more useless than me and they reported me. it is a fun game and the single player is truly appreciated on its hardest level. i hope you enjoy it too.

Code Works BUT unnecessary plastic packaging......
Was concerned initially as this item is sent in a very unnecessary plastic box as if containing a disc (really?!). The code is not immediately obvious and you may suffer a few palpitations before you look through the booklet to find the code printed in a white rectangle, somewhere towards the end of the booklet - so keep hunting before you start ringing 999. Really was pointless including a box with this item - such a waste of plastic, plus you have to wait for the item to be delivered when it could be sent electronically so saving on landfill, carbon emissions, waiting time, postie's shoes etc etc. I guess if you are buying it for a present then it gives you something to wrap...........

Amazing single player!
Single player is absolutely brilliant!! Far better than the first game. It has some brilliant storyline and unique points that make it stand out amongst the other FPS games out there. Multiplayer however for me is disappointing. It feels a little too random at times as you seemingly get killed from any and everywhere (out of nowhere) compared to say BF4. But it's fast pace is still fun and maybe I'm just not that good at it :)

A superb single player campaign and not too bad multiplayer
Good story driven single player campaign, worth the price for that alone.
