The pad keeps my rug from sliding around my hardwood floors, but the edge of the rug peels up from the corners, which i find really annoying. I wish the pad adhered to the rug better to prevent this from happening. I need to continue shopping around for a better product.

It makes the rug feel softer to walk on, but doesn't completely stop rug from moving. We used on a highly glossy hardwood floor that was newly finished, so it may work better on less smooth surfaces. Ended up buying rug Velcro and that worked much better for us.

The rug pad was perfect. I trimmed about 3 inches from one side. I put the pad on the floor and the rug on top of it and its been working fine. Looks great and the rug doesn't slide any more!

I think my mat did not have enough weight to cause this to get good adhesion. I have used this type of stuff under other rugs and it worked fine but for some reason this one did not. Again I think it was due to the light weight floor mat.
