Worth every penny. I learned so much from this book just flipping through the pages. I have started collecting a bunch of books for my personal home library and this is a must have. To the author, very well done!

This is not a course of any language and expensive for code available online for free, but a very good reference
It is a code bible but also states itself as an accelerated course. You can google code and get it for free. This was expensive for what it is since it really isn't a course in any language. Quite a few of the graphics are too small to read or make any use of, but there are many output examples that are worthwhile. You will probably need to dig into other resources to really learn the languages.

LOTS of information but in many cases, more like a reference, and probably not good for newbies; can't download example files
Wow. I'm a software developer and I can certainly tell you that there is A LOT of information in this book. It is "super-concise", and probably too concise for a lot of people. I would NOT recommend this book for a beginner or newbie. Intermediate and advanced web developers would likely find it useful. A beginner may find it useful as a reference to use in addition to a "standard" learning book that is not so concise, that takes things more slowly, and that includes more explanation. In many places (perhaps in more places than not), it gave me the impression of a reference guide instead of teaching book. Keep that in mind. Also, some of the topics went over my head. I guess no one can be an expert in all web technologies anymore, or at least very few people. While I could spend a lot of time "mastering" each chapter, I thought it would be better to set some of the topics aside and come back to them when I have an actual need. You'll probably feel the same way and have chapters that are much more useful to you than others, but the nice thing is that the less-useful chapters might to quite useful to you later, so you'll want to keep this book on-hand.While there are a lot of examples, you will probably need to "play" with some of them to fully understand them... that means typing them up if you get the paperback version because as far as I know, you can't download the example files. This is quite unfortunate. If you get the Kindle version then you may be able to copy and paste them and not have to type them.Oh, I also ran into multiple typos and some errors but nothing serious enough to significantly detract from all the information. So while this book has a lot of information (and I mean A LOT!), because of the above issues I mentioned I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5.NOTE: I was sent a free product sample for review. I was not paid or told what to write.

Informative book but advertised website redirected to suspended account :(
Useful book containing the major languages used to create client/server web comms. My memory is terrible so I needed a book that I could use as an aide-memoir and this fits the bill perfectly when I cannot remember a certain syntax, key word or procedure. It contains short precise descriptions of each part of each chapter followed by technical examples and explanations. I recommend this book if you are an intermediate level web designer who wants to enhance their dynamic web technical skills. It is ironic that the URL http://webcodingbible.com is reporting on Address: 54.169.130.101, HTTP 302 redirection to:The document has moved <a href="http://webcodingbible.com/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi">here</a>.</p> (from wireshark)Oooops! Come on Mr Phang let's see what goodies you have on your website.

400 pagine.
