Meiji Almond Chocolate

The chocolate layer is luscious. Soft, medium dark (definitely not blah milk choc, anyway), possibly a hint of coffee -- very delicate, VERY nice! What REALLY pleases me however, is that the almonds are tender, not "roasted" to rock-hardness, as is so often, unfortunately, the case. We just discovered these and will definitely buy them again. There are maybe 2 dozen almonds in the box? We didn't count, but did find that these are so luxurious and rich that one or two is a serving.

In its proper state, this is a good product (I have purchased it locally before as opposed to online). Unfortunately, the ones from this online purchase do not have the glossy chocolate coating that they should. Perhaps something happened during the journey from Japan to New York (see pictures). Thankfully the person I gave these to believes "It's the thought that counts".

They aren’t overly sweet. You won’t be able to stop eating them. Very delish

Very disappointed with the way the chocolate looks I was looking forward to it and this is not the first time I’ve had this I know they are not suppose to look like that. I’m scared to eat them because of that! Veryyyy Disappointed

it was ok. almond chocolate was same as i could get in my retail store. they weren't good as real milk chocolate almonds.
